I’m a people person, and I’m proud of it

According to google search, definitions of mission, vision statement and value are as below:

  • The mission statement defines what an organization does
  • The vision statement defines where it wants to go
  • Value proposition is the unique benefit that you offer to your clients

Value is important in my opinion because it’s what pushes us to move forward. As I went through a turning point in my life, I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflecting, thinking, reading, and asking myself thousands of questions, and it all eventually comes back to one thing: I like people, and making a difference to others makes me happy.

Now, I’m not talking about pleasing everyone — that’s something I absolutely hate to do. I’m too genuine to lie to myself and pretend to like someone when I don’t.

I’ve had some strong personal traits that have been consistent throughout my school and work life, it’s just that I never really thought about how special they are or how I could build on these traits — until recently.
